Update
Many
of you have been asking what is going on with the Ono Grill
and when will be re-opening. As of this writing, we are
unable to secure a definite opening date.
In
late April, our Chef and Managing Partner Sam Holmes suffered
a massive heart attack. He survived and is at home recovering.
Under doctors orders, Sam will be recuperating for at least
six months. He's doing very well and we look forward to
seeing him soon. However, because of this event, it has
pushed our opening date back indefinitely.
We
are looking to re-open the grill as soon as possible. However,
with the pending opening of our Spro Coffee kiosk at the
Towson Library in July, our resources are stretched a bit
thin at the moment.
If
you know of any cooks who may be interested in learning
and carrying on our tradition of Southern and Hawaiian
Barbecue please let them know to contact Jay.
